FallCall Showcase Poster
FallCall is a watch which can automatically detect falls and communicate to get help, regardless of where the user is. The watch records data on time, vitals data, and GPS location. The watch sends a text message to a list of phone numbers upon automatically detecting a fall (which may be aborted), with the recorded data at time of fall. A panic button exists as a manual option. The watch also stores user’s current medication or pre-existing conditions.
Comprehensive research, design and prototyping of a product for the ageing population. Built a fully functional prototype for showcase presentation.
Awarded 2nd Place in Trinity Universal Design Innovation Competition 2017.
Placed Top 30 Irish Student Entrepreneur Awards 2017.
